By downloading, installing, or using the Skora mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Skora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
Skora is a skincare ingredient education tool that helps users understand their skincare products by analyzing ingredient lists for compatibility with their personal skin profile. Users can track products on a digital shelf, view ingredient highlights, and detect potential ingredient conflicts.
Skora is an educational and informational tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The ingredient analysis, compatibility scores, and conflict alerts provided by Skora are for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional dermatological advice. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional before making decisions about your skincare, especially if you have a medical skin condition.
Skora uses artificial intelligence to analyze product ingredients and generate informational content. Our analysis draws from publicly available cosmetic science resources including the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR), the EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS), and the EWG Skin Deep database. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated analysis. You use this information at your own risk.
Skora uses anonymous authentication. You do not need to create a traditional account with an email and password. Your data is linked to your device. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you may link your account via Apple Sign-in to protect your subscription and data across devices. If you delete the app or switch devices without linking your account, your data may be lost.
Skora offers a free tier and a paid "Full Access" subscription:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription includes a 3-day free trial; after the trial period ends, $29.99/year will be charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew at $29.99/year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).
All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Skora does not process payments or refunds directly.
You agree not to misuse Skora, including but not limited to: attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering the app, or using automated tools to scrape product data.
All content, design, code, and branding in Skora are owned by Skora and protected by intellectual property laws. The license granted in Section 1 does not transfer any ownership rights to you. Product names, brands, and ingredient data sourced from Open Beauty Facts are used under their open-source license.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skora and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to skin reactions, allergic responses, or other adverse effects resulting from the use of information provided by the App. Skora provides ingredient information for educational purposes only; you are solely responsible for decisions about your skincare routine.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete your account and all associated data from within the App (Settings > Delete my account and data). Upon termination, your license to use the App is revoked. Active subscriptions can be cancelled via your Apple ID Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, except where prohibited by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
